For all you guys dealing in absolutes, saying that Bama absolutely doesnt deserve a rematch--who would you have us play if Okie State and VA Tech lose today? It's easy to say no rematch if you assume there willbean 11-1 Big 12 champ. What if there's not?

Well, technically. But I think we showed Oregon that by season's end their PAC 12 Championship was more like a clerical error on the NCAA's part.

Dude, I watched that game. If you play that game 10 times, Oregon wins 9 of them. That was your championship game this season and you couldn't stop Oregon in the 4th. They just ran out of time.

It is pretty clear at this point now how scared LSU fans are of a rematch.

Righttttttttttttt...we beat Bama at Bama in front of one of the most hostile home crowds with them never getting closer than the LSU 17, but I'm "scared" to play them again and this time in Louisiana.

You appear as delusional as some Bama fans with that thought process.

I didn't want an Oregon rematch either. Not out of fear. It's just been there done that.

We beat them not 4 weeks ago. There was no controversy, no egregious officiating, nothing to call the win into question.

There's nothing to be gained by playing them again.

Exactly.

It's just not fair.

It's like letting Bama play on house money. It pretty much voids what LSU accomplished traveling to Alabama and winning that game on the football field.

It's not right and a new team deserves another shot.. Especially if it's a team with a much better resume than Bama. A team who has more wins against quality opponents.

Please no re match as I living in North Al. I have heard so much crying lately I don't know if I could stand any more. Lsu would win again by a larger score! If the situation was reversed, the gumps would want no part in a re-match, trust me!

Well when everyone and their mother is complaining about a rematch it certainly appears that way. I am inclined to believe that most fans are hiding behind the whole "They had their shot, we beat them in their own house" argument, instead of just saying that playing Alabama again makes them nervous. Kinda like how you are doing right now.

LSU has nothing to prove by playing bama again

letting bama play is like sending them to the roulette table to see if they can get their number to come up

bring on Okie State, Bring on Bama, bring on any other team in this country that thinks they have nuts to play us and actually think they can beat our damn strong team. This team has the want and thats the bottom line

Complaining bout a rematch does not equate to be being"scared". imo

Beating a 12-1 Big 12 conference Champ, if OSU wins, will serve this LSU team better nationally than beating a 11-1 champ of nothing Bama who we already beat once. What's so hard for some to understand?

Hell, playing any team in the BCS Top 8 makes me nervous, but Bama doesn't make me any more nervous than playing OSU or V. Tech or anyone else would.

Try again.

No. You really don't get it. It's about preferences and deserving.

I prefer not to hear about Bama for an entire month.

I don't agree with rematch situations, unless there truly is no other better option.

I have absolutely no problem if Ok st loses with Bama getting in.

NONE. zero. but I just don't think it's fair otherwise.

Not true. I'd like to play someone different. I'd like to plat someone easier. I'd like to play the best. And I'd like to - no, I'd love to - beat Bama again! In short, I'm ambivalent.

Pretty much how I feel
