I've never seen Gray hit two free throws.

I almost got banned for questioning his basketball smarts, but he played great tonight.

That's the kind of effort we need from you Josh! Great game.

WHAT?

His missed FT and inability to finish lost us the game

Oh and fouling the guy on the last possession. You're a damn clown.

His defense lead us back in the game you cock gobbler. And that was a weak arse foul call that gave them free points.

Gray also checked a guy and fouled him when we had Marquette in a 3 defender trap.

He certainly lacks concentration. He's not as bad as Hickey was...yikes!

Josh was the spark that made it close. Yeah, he was out of control, but that's what got us back into the game. Criticizing him tonight is just ridiculous.

Gray fouled out in limited minutes, I wouldn't call that great defense.

He plays limited minutes and his job is to be aggressive on both ends. He did that and created offense on that end and came up with some huge steals and played well on his man on D. The guy isn't a star but he is a great guy to have as a 6th or 7th man. He adds something (ability to penetrate, good D) that this team has very little of.

Who gives a shite what grade you gave him?

Now, now, I never said that he was smart. It seems like him coming off the bench is surely the correct decision, so he can't make too many bone-headed drives.

At least this year it's 2 good plays and then 1 bad play, where last year it was 1 good play and then 2 bad plays

No, it's giving credit where credit is due. Did you watch him play last year?

First of all we were 18 for 25 FT
So he wasn't the only one that missed free throws any one of those 7 missed FT could have helped us out

Secondly they could have easily held the ball and ran out the clock so his 5th foul wasn't a horrible decision we still had plenty of time (10sec)to win the game we just came up short on the offensive end

Gray has choked a lot when the game is on the line and he did it again tonight. The missed FT is normal for him but the stupid foul was just.... stupid. He can handle the ball real good but he needs to know his role. His role is not to drive the lane and jump in the air and have no where to go. He does that a lot. If he would spend as much time on the court practicing as he does getting TATS then he would probably be a much better player. Not a fan at all. A point guard is like a QB on the football team. They don't need to be the star but blend in and make everyone around them shine. Gray does not understand this logic.
