You know as much as we appreciate Jarret Lee, and deservedly so, for how he has fought through some adversity during his time here, you have to appreciate Jefferson for the same thing. No way we beat Bama or Ole Miss without his performances. He looks a lot more decisive running and throwing the football. I was down on the kid most of the season, but he now sits at #10 on the all-time passing yards list (just passed Bert Jones), #9 all-time in pass attempts and completions (ahead of Rohan Davey), and his next TD pass will tie Jeff Wickersham for 10th on the all-time list. Not saying he is as good or better than those guys, but it is still a great accomplishment.

Should have passed him last night but Deangelo Peterson can't catch and run at the same tim.

I agree. Just as I was giving up on Jefferson, he improved substantially. We needed for someone to step up at quarterback. Lee played very well but seemed to get a little nervous. Then Jefferson picked it up. They needed each other and in the end it seems to have worked well for everyone.

Congrats to JJ. I, like a lot of others, were pretty hard on him a few weeks ago. I am glad he has shown such determination and grit not to give up on himself, despite the criticism and frustration from the fans. Well done, JJ!

easy now dude, nice game. Not to say JL would not have also had a great game against OLE MISS. Remember, they have an atrocious defense. Tenn hung half a hundred on them just last week. Good game by JJ, but consider the competition, and don't assume JL doesn't put up huge numbers yesterday as well if he had played.
