Yes I tried to find a link though it's probably too recent.

They were talking about the Arizona Cardinals & he said the had two former LSU Tigers on defense who were huge difference makers in Peterson & Mathieu......Went on to say Mathieu was a threat on every play to disrupt a play & he's his favorite defensive player in NFL

Great pub for LSU!!! Cant be anything than a huge help for recruiting

It's pretty awesome how he was such a "risky move" when he first came to the NFL and now he has done nothing but steal the hearts of all Cardinal fans and the NFL in itself. Great player, even better person.

It wasn't even risky. It was just pot. People just reached a hive mentality that pot is evil so Tyrann must be evil too.

He's my favorite collegiate defensive player of the past 15 to 20 years - probably have to go back to Booger McFarland to find anyone close.

So, I completely get that.

It didn't help that he told ESPN that he didn't really feel like playing in the BCS Championship, biggest game of his life.

That sort of thing understandably will give an NFL team pause.

He didn't feel like playing because none of them did. It was completely unfair to have to play the same team that they had already beaten, at their home, again. It's very hard to beat a good team twice because they will adjust their strategy but the victors generally don't.

I still for the life of me can't understand why they didn't grab La'el for such a bargain price. He'd be a Brees protector stalwart on their line.
