I didn't enjoy the Johnny Manzel Show that the announcers put on. Good lord. That's all they talked about for two quarters.

He's good. But. 65 yards?

I thought Manziel was great. I like watching him. He'll play one more year, he had a red shirt, so that's 3, he's gone. He reminds me of Drew Brees.I hope the Saints get him.

Saw southern miss do it to him last year. Should have hired smart.

It can also go the other way and be said that Johnny Manziel has to face an LSU and Bama defense for the next 3 years.

While I belive he is a good player, I don't see him being a Tebow type dominant player.

Crazy thing is, he committed to Oregon and then switched to aTm. Can you imagine that kid at Oregon right now?

We had JM shoved down our throats by the aggies for 2-3 wks. We shut him down after adjustments, as did Fla. I am tired of hearing bout the next great QB in college football. Let the aggies blow his horn. We have a team to support here in BR.

We do NOT have a senior laden o line. We have exactly 1 senior starting, Center Patrick Lewis. Joeckel and Mathews are JRs. Our Guards are Sophmores. The starting center next year will be Jake Mathews, son of Bruce brother to Jake.

Our OL will still be stacked next year

If he is really that good, it will, probably, only be two years.

It took exactly one quarter for Chief to figure out A&M's CUSA offense. That would concern me very much if I were an A&M fan.

BINGO... i was very please with the way our defense adjusted... they didn't even wait til halftime either

Lots of players have a great run before people learn what they do. Think about Denard Robinson. How's he looking now? Maybe the comparison isn't a great one because Manziel has a heck of an arm, and seems to be more accurate than Robinson, but Heisman predictions might be a bit premature.

no, he really doesn't... i think he's a heck of a football player, but arm strength isn't one of his best attributes

this guy is going to be a thorn in our side for the next three years.

yes he is BUT he will prevent the aggies from being a serious contender unless they get a defense as stellar as LSU's. the "system, scheme, etc" they run is too dependent on him. when a good defense makes him throw it downfield he can't do it enough to win. yes, they will amass a lot of yards, esp against inferior defenses and he will get his yards but the name of the game is scoring more points than the team you are playing.

Nope. His team will not be successful enough for this to happen.

Baylor didn't accomplish a whole lot last year.

Injuries I agree with. Pro early, doubtful.

LSU played him perfectly once we moved to the 3-4. I can imagine how frustrated he would be taking off to run toward the sideline looking to cut upfield only to see Mingo or Montgomery right on his arse. Logan practically ran him down at one point.

Dude is impressive, but Let's see how he fares against the other top tier defenses in the SEC.

People want to crown his arse for playing La Tech and Ole Miss. His numbers weren't very special against us.
