Del Piero is a walk-on. Even if he's horrible, it's basically a free practice player. Why would you get rid of him, unless he has a bad attitude or something.

No kidding. Trent's opening press conference is the only time in human history that a coach actually depressed fan expectations at his announcement.
We're going to look back on his time here and wonder if it's possible for a supposedly good coach to do a worse job at a program with LSU's resources.
