Im sure JOB has solid information on his draft stock. I'd say with 99% confidence he has better information than you.

And that information could be undrafted/europe.

of course he wont grow and become a above the rim guy but he could improve his midrange game and the mental part of his game. He had a great stretch during the year but towards the end he started having some really bad games

Would coming back really improve his stock? He's more than likely not going to grow so he won't become that above the rim player.

He was double teamed the whole year. Next year he could really flourish playing the 4 and 5 with talent out there with him at the other spot in each case.

More power to JOB. I hope he succeeds, but I'm not about to call him names. It's his decision whether we agree with it or not.

Then why is he leaving LSU?

I cannot tell you yet why he would chose to leave, but he has talked to NBA evaluators and understands where he sits.

He could work on his shot, and also get the all important hype machine working for him.

yeah, he'd most likely be preseason All-SEC and LSU could push some hype around him. We will no doubt be on TV more next year since we'll be good as well.

I'll be glad to not have to deal with him again if he does indeed leave

Yeah. He was a real force this year once he recovered from his minor injuries. Shame for his career to be over this early.

yeah momma ain't driving down from Cleveland, Mississippi to hear that he's staying

.................my question is, why are we having a press conference just for him to say he's leaving us, not to be mean but he could just announce it to a media outlet quickly and let that be it

He's going because he wants to. He wants to try and earn a paycheck. Coming back isn't going to change his game or his ability, so he should just go. He might get more hyped because we should be better, but he could also blow his knee out. He's not going to prove anything to scouts next year no matter what and he had no intention of finishing his eligibility, so he should just go now.

I think some people have already said this but I think in highschool he had visions of himself playing one or two years and being good enough to go pro.

Randolph

Not the same scenario. Everyone thought he would be a lottery pick when he came out.
