If we want our program to be relevant. He is the answer if we want nit level teams

Not to take Johnny Jones back on this one, but LSU lacks talent at many key positions. No point guard no post present on offense or defense. If LSU cant make 3's they could be beat by anyone in country, which they proved earlier this year in non conf. play.

No, he is not terrible, he is average. We are a fringe ncaa/nit team with him almost every year. When teams dont play defense, they dont win consistently, thats our problem. He seems to be a recruiter. Wish we could get a good bench coach to go with him

I did not see the stats, but if we gave up 60% field goal percentage in the second half today, and it sure looked like we did, that would be 5 games in a row.

Much lesser talented and less athletic teams have not even come close to that level of futility.

Put that in perspective and all the other rationalizations take a back seat.

What we need is a solid investment into the program. LSU is too short-sighted to see, but it will pay dividends.
