So how do we know he'll be getting a scholarship next year? He's a solid player, but will there honestly even be a spot for him with the low attrition we're expecting?

Treloar is a good coach. I don't know what kind of HC he would be but he's better than anyone on this staff with X's and O's

then that sucks, regardless I don't mind the move... I do know he's now in school though (or at least that's what I was told from someone I definitely trust regarding the matter)

I don't think quarterman will get the ax but there's a good chance that Malone/Odo will to make room for bridgewater. Or Hammink is asked to walk on

I do too. Cannot give link for obvious reasons, but yea, he's in school.

I thought all along that Malone was just a piece to get Simmons and Exum here too. Just my baseless observation though.

This is my guess. FYI we have 15 on the official roster this year (and that includes Bridgewater and Hornsby).

So we lose: Stringer, Coleman

We gain: Robinson, Epps, Patterson (as of right now)

So if JOBIII leaves we're good right? If not, then we'll have to drop a scholarship player, or am I missing something?

I don't think so. I think they still (and I still do as well) think he'll be a contributor as he matures and gains experience. No reason to kick him off the team.

Exum is NBA bound. Patrick was the ploy for Simmons. Malone was taken bc he's 7'0 even though he has no other skill

Dude I get you. He's an LSU player and we want him to do well... But he's really bad. If we needed the room he's probably first on the list

All I know is we get 13. Our 2 walkons are Eddlestone and Shortess.

But I doubt JOB leaves this team for several reasons. He has a lot committed to LSU and his draft status is lousy unless he improves significantly in a short period of time.

Okay so if JOBIII stays:
JOBIII, Mickey, Martin, Hickey, Morgan, Gray, Epps, Robinson, Patterson, Hornsby, Bridgewater, Odo, Malone, Quarterman, Hammink would all currently be scholarship players (that's 15 if you don't feel like counting...

Hammink and Bridgewater would be my two guesses for walk-ons (unless there's some other attrition via transferring or something)

Malik Morgan is a guy I could see transferring. He's getting light minutes in his sophomore year, but has D-1 qualities to play elsewhere.
It could potentially be a strange situation for LSU to be in, but not really a bad thing.
