Any other year, yes. The bubble teams are just SO bad. A victory over UK gives us 3 top 25 wins, 6 top 50 wins...that's way better than most. I mean, we are competing against the likes of St Bonny's. It still would NOT be enough by itself, but beat a Bama/Vandy/USCe in the tourney...things then get very very interesting.

If the Tigers beat Mizzou and upset Kentucky, and win one SEC tournament game, they're in. A 12-6 conference record may be good enough this year to win the regular season title. A&M, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and LSU are all in contention for that honor.

It won't be enough, the pre conference losses will be too much to overcome, especially since Hornsby is out now we lose that argument as well. If we win out then make it to tourney finals, with a win over a&m or Kentucky in the semis then maybe.
We also have to pray all the favorites win in the crappy conferences

This team imp doesn't deserve to get s bid. Unless they somehow win the sec tourney. I highly doubt they win the sec tourney. As far as the nit , they get a home game and probably choke it away. Thanks for the memories Ben. Good luck in the nba.

Not all of them... it doesn't matter to us who wins the Big Sky or the SoCon, they're only getting one bid either way. We just need teams that are getting in anyway to take their conference's auto bid as much as possible, like Wichita State in the Missouri Valley.

The pre conference losses are killing us and I imagine we would have been able to win at least 2 or 3 of those with our full team. Oklahoma win would have put our RPI up by 25 spots. People know we can play with anyone and will take us if we can make it close.

That's what I meant... Doesn't matter who wins the swac or meac, their only getting 1in.

If there were ever a year for LSU to frick around and at least make the SECT final

No shite. I don't think we've won more than one game in the SEC Tournament since 2003 or made a final since 1993. You'd think the law of averages.

But hard to imagine the team we've seen this year stringing that many good games together.

Just think, if we would've went 2-1 over that last 3 game skid we would've clinched the SEC title yesterday

Anyone still formulating mathematical equations that would qualify LSU for a NCAA tourney bid gives more fricks about it than the actual team.

what a shame. that bama game will piss me off for many years to come. totally inexcusable loss. Win that game i highly doubt we lose both of those road games. oh well. Time to win the SEC tourny instead

Being in the tourney would be just another opportunity to be embarrassed on national TV. We've had enough of that already.

Thats wrong. Still would be 12-4. Only 1 game ahead of A&M and UK with 2 left. A win tuesday against mizzou would have guaranteed at least a share though

It seems to me he's saying we have a 50/50 shot which is better than most bracketologists
