Joe Alleva issues letter of apology for "frick you Saban" chant.

"I'd like to once again thank our fans for their incredible support of our team in last Saturday's game with Alabama. The Tigers played with tremendous heart and passion, and our fans played a huge role in inspiring a performance of which we can all be very proud.
Unfortunately, a small minority of people chose to diminish the image of our great university by engaging in a profane chant directed toward Coach (Nick) Saban. We are deeply sorry that such crude behavior occurred in Tiger Stadium, because that is the antithesis of what we represent at LSU.
If it occurs in the future, we will make every effort to identify those who choose to act in this manner and make sure they know they are no longer welcome in our stadium. Our hope, however, is that this will never happen again.
Best wishes to Coach Miles and the Tigers for a strong finish to this season, and we sincerely appreciate the pride they instill in LSU fans each Saturday. And, thanks again to the best fans in the nation for their continued support of the Tigers!"

It really is upsetting, not that our students used vulgarity, but that they used it towards a man we should be thankful to for bringing our program to the top

It's pretty easy how to identify... Just look at the names of every male student that was issued tickets before season and likely many females

Thankful for a guy that designs his team specifically to beat LSU per his own words? That includes Louisiana recruiting. Thanks for the past but he is the enemy now. Not agreeing with the chanting though.

What's stupid is these students hadn't even hit puberty when Saban was coaching here... They are self-entitled spoiled brats who haven't earned shite as a fan.

...Going to a football game is not a right. It's a privilege.
Ask Ohio State students. They don't have a student section in Columbus.
If they can't act like adults and act appropriately, either require that they sit next to their parents for adult supervision...or eliminate the student section.

He had a letter last year that said that also .. or some recent season. How are they going to track you down other than friends telling?

SOLUTION: Ban all students... Sell those 15,000 seats for 1000 bucks a year = 15 million more a year into the coffers... Turn lemons into lemonade... Who cares about the game experience. It's about the money.
