Worse? At one point JJ was 5 ft out on the court coaching the offense in his own half court. His players could have passed him the ball like a sixth man. This was during the critical last 8 min of game. Not a problem to me but that stuff is obviously not ok with many on here. BTW the refs let it go without a word for those keeping score.

Generally speaking, officials don't care if you're out of the box/on the court and coaching your team. But as soon as you start to bark at the officials...you're going to get warned. That's why Cal received his warnings.

I remember JJ going on the court, but the ball wasn't in play. Not sure if I missed anything. Regardless, Cal shouldn't have received another warning.

Don't you only get one bench warning and then the next is a tech?

Was the one Cal got early in the game not an official bench warning then? Because the second one was a real one.

I thought the first one was "official" too...

Ball was in play. Please bear in mind this doesn't bother me. Mostly I think the refs let these guys grandstand all they want. T's come from what they say more than what they do. Some of the offending talk is specific and some of it I am sure is cumulative as in they get tired of hearing it.

Last night I have no idea what JJ said but he drew an instant T for whatever he said. He was not even throwing much of a tantrum. Ref was about 5-10 ft away and bang.

Cal's warnings again I have no idea what he said but the refs were not near him and basically put him back in Time Out space. And believe it or not he did not stray out of his box much last night. Cal spent a lot more of his time scolding his players than the refs.

Exactly. That's my whole issue. These refs just seemed clueless half the time

LSU wins by 18 and was screwed by bad refs all night. I nominate this post for POY!

Yeah, no. You never see coaches get techincals called for speaking to the officials.

I was there sitting straight across from the benches.

Exactly, so why yell at the refs because your player left someone unguarded or did something else stupid. You all don't realize most of Cals yelling on the sideline is at his own players. UK fans don't like it either.

The worst call of the night was whatever the frick they called on Quarterman's put back which they took away then UK goes down the court and nails a 3, 5 point swing just like that. Would have put UK away there earlier than we did.

Even the announcer immediately said "Thats an awful call, no need for that"

Thought that was Patterson.

CJJ said on 104.5 this afternoon that he got his T for something he said, though he was still obviously not happy about it. Re the no calls on Coach K, he said he was told by the ref that the first was a bench warning, the second for his "chirping" at the refs, so there was no second offense per se.

Cal disturbed the game twice no matter if it was two different actions. Two disturbances is two disturbances. Should have been T'd up. Im glad the JJ technical didn't change the momentum of the game for the tigers
