Warms every patriotic heart

ETA: There were some really great quotes about JJ as a leader and teammate in one of the articles on the main page. The guys on the team really do look up to him.

Jefferson made a huge mistake this year with the bar fight, but he seems to have learned from it and grown as a team leader. Although I was shocked when the incident happened because he had never had any issues in his time at LSU up to this point. Miles deserves a hell of a lot of credit for holding this team together through all of the adversity this season and has molded these guys into a true championship-caliber team.

I don't think the bar fight has much to do with it. According to all sources, JJ looked great this past offseason. Be it leadership, hard work, or improved mechanics/passing, everyone was high on JJ up until the bar fight. What we've seen in the last few games is what people sang his praises about. He's far from a heisman QB, but he's definitely in charge and has improved a lot from last season. I think he shoulders a lot of last years' disappointments on his shoulders (rightly so, he was very inept last year.)

I remember Saban preaching domination of your opponent, but I haven't seen it so clearly demonstrated as it was in the Old Miss game and this game. They both gave up with lots of time left in the game and they both cried.
