Like what we're starting to hear about the QB's. Mixed feelings about it though. The lack of reviews on Etling a good thing or bad thing.

Have no problem with him turning it on and making the needed major strides this year. But this feels more like a QB competition than any of the last 7 - 9 years.

Specifically what Aranda said at Canada's press conference. As a defensive coordinator, you love this because you walk away from practice knowing you've seen everything.

The only thing I'm skeptical about is the fact that this same thing happens every. single. spring.... and look what it's produced the last few....

shite... ETA skeptical... not optimistic...

The offense is actually causing the defense trouble, which was not typical with Les

We just won't know. The d lost some very good players as well, key is also out.

I just hope we finally create some space for the run game.

The Tigers will rely on Williams to spell Guice and also in short-yardage situations, so this is great news for a team faced with little running back depth for the first time in over a decade.

Very next sentence:

Nicholas Brossette is also getting in on the action at running back with Guice nursing his injury, and Brossette had some big plays in Tuesday's practice.

LSU problems.

Rashard Lawrence, Devin White, Kevin Tolliver
Now I see why Aranda didn't leave for Texas.

I heard Anthony Jennings looks like the real deal out there. Lots of improvement.

At WR, I am telling you Dee Anderson is a sleeper. At 6'5" 205 lbs. He is fast, has good hands, can jump like a Basketball player, and much more. LSU has got to find a way to used him. Also, I think Derrick Dillon will be in the mix...

The years of spring hype from the Miles era has me scarred. Still more pumped than I've been in a long while. Here's to a good season

Biggest difference to me is that previously, while we were being told they were doing things differently, nothing would actually look or feel any different and we were just left to assume that the staff was just not wanting to show too much during the media portion of practice or during the spring game.

Now there are actual witnesses not named Cam and Les saying how different everything looks.

And with the way Canada uses tight ends Jacory Washington and stephen Sullivan (i know hes a WR but hes a huge WR) could make a lot of plays as well

Chark, Davis, and Anderson will be a stout 3 wide set. Throw in Dillon, Gage, or Netherly at slot and you have an extremely talented (but unproven) WR corps.

Just remember what a tight end coach was able to do with the offense with no spring or fall training or his own playbook.

Now we have one of the very best OC's in the country with a full off season. And Aranda is in his 2nd year, which means players will be even more accustomed to his defense.
