My source told me that the Jimbo deal falling through news is a plot to quiet the media circus (local and national) and that we are 100% well aware of the Sexton/Saban to Texas deal and have made the right moves for Jimbo to come to LSU.
That tactic of spreading misinformation will also find your leaks identities pretty quick.
Was also told that Miles did not go quietly but was not in the position to negotiate the exit but that we have worked outa package for him. Lastly was told that it has been an old festering wound after the 2012 title game and the Arkansas plot for a raise really effectively strained Allevas and the TAFs support for Miles pretty badly.
It didnt stall, there are laws to be followed due to both coaches have to follow while under contract.
The plot was to keep quiet to avoid a Saban to Texas disaster which ultimately ended up getting Pattersons job in the end at UT. My source is very legit. Alleva neither the boosters wanted egg on their face like Texas after the Saban debacle.
I had previously named my source but I had to deleted it bc of the crazies...
