Marshall Faulk just said the scouts are going bananas over Hill. Faulk said if you try and wait for him to drop you will miss out

Same can be said for a lot of RBs.

Including Hill. When we passed, Magee was usually in.

Now in the NFL you rarely have a guy that plays on all snaps. Adrian Peterson doesnt play on passing downs.

4.63 second attempt as well

All combine the 40 clock has been showing faster times for the majority of unofficial clocks. So I'm guessing Hills official will sit right around 4.7.

If I'm a scout, all I need to see is that at his size very few SEC DBs ran him down from behind

Except that Hill was third on the team in receiving yards with one less reception than Magee.

You asked how the AU offense held him back, just repeating the same concerns voiced by the scouts at the combine.

Not unexpected.

Did people really expect Hill to run a 4.5?

Yep...

And every scout and analyst will tell you that film always speaks louder than the combine.

John Harbaugh said the combine is just a confirmation of sorts for coaches. If they see a guy they like on film, they just wanna make sure hes a decent athlete and what not.

And it helps some of the no named guys gets some interest.

All of that is true RAT. But Hill only had 18 catches on the year.

I'm actually pretty impressed with the 4.63. He's going to wind up being a 2nd rounder.

I love Hill but balance is not one of his strong points

Absurd. Did you watch any games this year? Hill's balance is the main reason he broke so many long TDs.

Balance could be Hills strongest point... not sure what that guy is talking about.

Vision, balance, and foot work are arguable his best assets.

Exactly, Hill's balance is shown every time a safety tried to take him out low, and Hill just kept on trucking towards the endzone. On many of his long runs, a safety had a shot at him but couldn't take his legs out.
