If Jeremy Hill wasn't a LSU football player, would this even make it to Sue's desk?

I think they sometimes go out of their way with these type of celebrity cases just to prove to the public that they aren't given special privileges because someone is famous.

It's a bar fight. It's not like he savagely beat a family at a gas station in North BR....

Exactly. This is getting blown way out of proportion.

If Jeremy Hill wouldn't play for LSU the video would have never seen the light of day, but we live in a look at me society.

Absolutely correct. But doesn't change the fact that as a member of the football team he should not conduct himself by blindsiding someone. It's up to Coach Miles now I guess!!

In some ways it's not that much different than 50 yrs. ago. Too many fans(short for fanatic) will overlook any and all transgressions by stud football players in order to win at all cost. This attitude exacerbates an already emerging problem for some athletes. For Hill's future success as a human being, we can only hope he realizes the seriousness of his situation and does not expect society to keep turning it's head to his antics. It's growing up time, dude!

He and Cecil Collins should get together and discuss things. Hopefully Cecil has learned his lesson and can impart some "hard earned" experience and knowledge to this young man.

Hill snuck the dude with a right hand and the dude didn't even looked phased. Hill needs to get with Moffit and work on his technique.

No shite. That was pretty weak. He is lucky he was fighting some drunk frat guy in the parking lot and not some country arse dude in the middle of a field.

I wanted JJ off the team, but only because he kicked an unconscious guy in the head and he was a bad QB

I get what you're saying, but the things Hill has got in trouble for are typical behavior for plenty of males his age who aren't athletes. I'd be willing to bet there are doctors, CEOs of companies, etc. that have done the exact same thing as Hill and not got in trouble.

Hill needs to walk a straight line now because of who he is and because of those two instances. Getting in a fight or getting a BJ from a freshman aren't exactly heinous crimes, but he should try to be as much of a choir boy as he can moving forward.

JJ needed to be thrown in Angola for the same damn crime to hear the rant tell it, but Hill is better than JJ so he should get a pass.

bullshite.

He's already been in trouble now he's going to be a con

Dude MUST GO.

Basically if a Player is good, he should stay. If he sucks, have les make an example out of him.
