If JH were in training to be an IBM manager instead of a pro football player he would be looking for another job!
If that was the case he would've never been arrested in the first place.

IMO he certainly deserves some additional punishment as he was already given a break on the girl issue and then could not keep out of trouble. However, the additional punishment will be due to what I will call the 'thug syndrome' both locally and in sports in general. Locally the DA and law enforcement is cracking down on thugs/gangs in a big way and is going to be less willing to give him any more breaks so as not to look like like they are playing favorites because he is a LSU athlete. Along those same lines the fact that he is an athlete is going to work against him this time given the 'thug syndrome' that is permeating pro sports. The Aaron Hernandez case was the final straw and owners know that 'thugs' are hurting the game and will be looking to their farm system(college) to help them clean it up. They are already beginning to try to identify 'at risk' athletes who show the propensity to commit crimes, people like JH. He is probably just going to be caught in a time of less tolerance. I think the days of 'just a bar fight' are over. If JH were in training to be an IBM manager instead of a pro football player he would be looking for another job!'

So a bar fight is okay. If I killed someone in a bar fight or at least put them in the hospital with brain damage (which hitting someone behind the ear very hard could do) then would that be okay?
did this happen?
no further questions

I'm certainly glad I'm not an accused criminal being defended or prosecuted by the Rant's legal experts.

Mentioning Aaron Hernandez was more outlandish to me but thug syndrome was solid as well.

Because I have a problem with a 18 yr old getting a BJ from a 14yr old. It's appalling!
