Unless they are truly red shirting him, McMillan should be the one to come in and get reps over Jennings

We need to get him some reps in case something happens to Harris. Also, if he balls out then it will motivate Harris more to keep his job.

You fool... we needed BH to get reps last season because he's more talented. AJ has hit his ceiling... reps won't help him get better.

Nope.

We need to work on getting Harris and the receivers up to par.

He's had reps.. He is experienced. He had an entire year worth of SEC play.

We have a solid backup. He has improved too.

Harris still needs as many reps as possible.

No, we saw him all last year. He does not nned to play. Play Harris in a short passing game. With Franks coming in next year, Jennings will never play. He needs to change positions, Safety, Tight End, or Flanker. Fellipe Franks will be the back-up next year and will need to play a little in mop-up duty to get ready for his time to play.

Miles almost never does that with backups, so I don't expect him to start now. Also, Jennings was best when he basically had never played (see near-miracle comeback W against Arkansas). So it's best that he doesn't play.

Disagree with this. Jennings can be a solid backup that comes in in spots and does enough to win while Harris is out for whatever reason. Even full games if it comes down to it. Writing him off as worthless at the QB spot is shortsighted as all hell. And assuming Franks will be ready to play that role next year is also short sighted. I'd love to have a Senior with experience in the system backing up a Junior next year while our Freshman gets to spend a year learning and developing.

I for one would like LSU to have a little depth at the QB spot again and Jennings offers us that. He also has no shot at position changing on this team. None.
