You have any news on Kade Woods? Guy was a stud at bama last year and has barely pitched for us, which I think is injury related but that is as specific as I’ve got

Woods would have to be disciplinary or injury. I doubt it's disciplinary, he's a good student, but I guess kids will be kids. I lean more to injury, even if not significant and moreso just rehabbing out of an abundance of caution. He seemed to be laboring a bit coming into the season. He had TJ in 2021 or 2022, so last year was his first season back.

His velo was down in the scrimmages and in his 1 apppearance, so do with that what you will

Jay mentioned in his postgame that they were planning on having Woods throw to a couple of batters on Sunday if the game had gone 9 innings.
