Not quite as tall, but 95+ with a nasty sweeping slider. Loose arm.

6 k’s in two innings yesterday was just what we needed.

Seems like the moment is not too big for him.

Absolutely- some of these other guys Shores included looked a little off. COMMAND the batters box. Could use 10 more with that attitude.

He is the arm that will make the difference. Hopefully come regional play he can extend and give 4 innings. He looks like he is ready to start a Friday or Sunday regional game.

Coleman had a power arm. Tallet didn’t throw as hard.

Tallet touched 87 mph on a good day

The only similarities are they’re white and left handed.

Tallet has played recently enough to have pitch data from the mlb. His average fastball velocity was 89.2

Coleman was hitting 95 last night a year after having TJS

Correct
Tallet made a lot of money because of that left arm, but he didn’t have much else. Coleman has an enormous up side.

It matters where ball velocity is being measured.

I’m not concerned too much with the velocity comparison, but their mechanics are very similar.

His pitching is similar to Randy Johnson with some velocity pulled back some. Arm angle and sweeping slider.
