With this pool of WRs, Beckham and Landry are mid/low 2nd round. Collins is low 2nd as well. Hill is mid 3rd. Ego and AJ are low 3rd to possibly low 5th.

Believe it or not, every one of them could stay and benefit from it.

Ummmm no this guy has been saying he wants his degree bf leaving LSU! For his Mom, idk why it's so hard to believe? Not everyone wants the big money right away some guys want that degree, may be first in the family or just loves college but he's said numerous times that he wants to graduate first. Very good chance he comes back! I also believe both Johnson and Ego need anothe year and would profit from another year, we will have depth so they can play at 100% next year but that's a long shot.

Actually it's been said that this year is a big need for DTs in the NFL and they project to be late 2nd early to mid 3rd rounders? But I def agree that both would benefit from another year, we should have depth there next year so..... And it's not a long shot at all that JL stays. I think Hill and Odell are gone especially Odell and he is a late first early 2nd round guy. Hill should be an early 2nd!

If he's taus it says two things:
1. Anthony Jennings is the real deal.
2. He knows he needs another year to build name recognition due to his lack of speed.

Actually I think this is one of the things that helped them both. They were each so good no team could single in on one.

IMO:

Landry isn't getting a lot of hype because of his height, and he doesn't have elite speed. He is very agile and shifty, but he doesn't have the fastest top-end speed. But he also might be the most clutch slot receiver in the NCAA.

If he can show next year that he can do the same with another QB, then he goes 1st round in next year's draft and his salary will bump tremendously. I hope he decides to hang around for one more..

You don't even have to say slot, he is the most clutch receiver in NCAA.

This is a very heavy WR draft. Landry could get pushed out of the 1st round by numbers alone.

Good point. We should increase his current pay though to lock him up for next year.

Jarvis is smart, he might want to finish school. If he does then come back and get another degree as a fallback if his NFL career (GOD FORBID) gets cut short to an injury. However if Beckham convinces him to go early i will be pissed. It needs to be his decision nobody else. HOWEVER, if Landry convinces Beckham to stay i would be okay with that.

He's probably just saying that because he hasn't officially looked at his NFL stock yet. It's just like when guys say they're staying during the middle of the season…when many of them obviously will be leaving.

Marcus Mariota is a projected to 10 pick and he is staying - just sayin

By who? 95% of mock drafts are BS until the combine has run its' course. I've seen some silly top draft picks on many mocks over the years.

Landry's stock won't be higher next season. He'd be crazy not to leave this yr. He can always come back in the Summer and get his degree. He can probably end work it into his contract that the team that drafts him, pays to allow him to finish his education.

I am going tomake this as simple as possible even though it will be a little long...

Every one of these guys saw a bunch of their starters leave early for the NFL without a first roound grade and it literally killed this year's team's chances at an NC.

Nobody on this or any other board can deny that the Tigers should have been favored to make it to the NC game this year if those guys who did not go in the first round would have came back for this season. With those guys on defense alone back on the field our front seven would have looked totally different the only possible loss that we MIGHT have had in 2013 would have maybe been against Bama.

Now if the players had that in the back oftheir minds all year and possibly spoke with a couple of those early departures who may have wished that they had stayed for a true championship run, perhaps this trend of early departures without 1st round grades will die out?

I admit that this is just wishful thinking but the fact is that this team would have done much better with those early departures who didn't make it out in the top two rounds still at LSU. It is also well known that these guys do enjoy playing for this staff and with each other.

I definitely hope that last year's mass exodus has caused most of these possible early departures to think about sticking around for another year if they do not grade out in the first round.

As for Landry, he would obviously be enormously HUGE for AJ next year and we all agree on that.I personally believe that he can improve his draft stock because his awesome catches will continue into next year and he will solidify himself as having the best hands in the NCAA bar none. If those catches were more of a fluke, then I would be advising him to hit the road because he would not be able to improve his stock without continuing to have catches like those in the clutch.
