he is improving but I thought he threw the ball to high most of the night. luckily the recievers caught the majority of them.

I'm pretty satisfied with how our QB situation is progressing...

Saban is going to blitz the shitz out of him.

Miss State has a solid SEC defense. They blitzed Lee. AU has a solid SEC defense. They blitzed Lee.

His TD to Byrd was in a blitz. I think he will be good and ready to handle most blitzs when Bama comes to town; especially after seeing Fla on the road who will - yep, you guessed it - blitz Lee.

Lee is looking very good and I can't wait to see him make more teams pay with his quick release against their blitz.

Jarrett Lee

improved a lot in the last week. He went through some progressions which he wasn't doing in the earlier games.

His armstrength and willingness to thrown downfield opens up our running game and will keep defenses honest. That is tremendously important.

And he's not nervous in the face of pressure.

throws off his back foot too often.

Yeah, but he looks like Brett Favre when he does it!!!!(per Bob Davie) Isn't that enough?

Seriously, with a bit more experience, I think we have a starter for years to come...

I know the assessment is a little tedious, but thats the reason he throws the ball a little high.

With out receivers he can get away with it while becoming more confident.

He's still a good one

his feet will come with time he is still a little anxious. just remember the kid has only been a qb for 4 years! I love his release and his arm strength.

If you want to play in the NFL, you better be able to throw off your back foot.

If they didn't rush the passer, he could step and fire at will.

Folk, if anyuone had told me that any of the three QBs at LSU would have a 67&% completion rate, two TDs, two straight pass completions to set up a 1 yard run for another TD, 261 yards passing, one interception, two more poorly thrown balls, and one sack by the 4th game, I would have said "no way---too much inexperience".

JLee is having many more positives than negatives and is progressing with every game. The fans, the coaches, the team, and especially JLee do not like to have negatives in his QB performances. The truth is that JLee is a redshirt freshman and will make mistakes.

The team seems to accept JLee and have adoptied as a philosophy not to let JLee fail. The experienced offensive leadership surrounding JLee is very fortunate.

By season's end I think JLee will be playing with confidence, making fewer mistakes and executing with sounder fundamentals.

I am a big JLee fan and look forward to his growth as an LSU QB.
