I cussed Lee like a dog turd under the dining room table on thanksgiving day in 2008 but I am pulling very hard for the kid to shine this year.

Isn't it time just to be LSU fans and pull for what ever QB is in the game.

Lee could have easily transferred to a mid of the road team and started from Day 1 but he stayed loyal and road it out.
We need to get behind him.

Same here. Same as every year he and JJ have been here. Same for all the players on the team. Wish all our fans could have that attitude.

I hope and wish Jarrett Lee has a tremendous season.

Y'all are acting like JJ would be missing an entire season. You think he'd get the boot after 1 incident?

Lets just say he is suspended for 1 or 2 games and Lee plays out of his mind. How can you justify Jordan getting any snaps for the rest of the season if Lee has a TREMENDOUS season?

if you are jumping on the bandwagon after booing the 18yr old in 08, please acknowledge your past ranturdishnism.

i never booed the kid because he was an lsu student athlete.
most of this board were lee boo birds.

it's ok to be honest. com'on man honest up.

or, continue to be fairweather turds.

It is certainly premature and perhaps in poor judgment to count Jefferson out at this time.

If Lee is the starter, if he plays a lot or a little, or if he just rides the pine, I wish him all the best. I thank for his contributions to LSU. I hope he has a truly successful season and life.

I'm sure he has improved since his RS freshman year. I have always said that he could very well be the man this year. God bless him.

I never booed the kid. I knew he had potential but what can you expect from a freshman. It sucks that he will be remembered by his freshman season. I would rather see him have a great year and lead us to a title. It would be a great story. Not trying to be a hater but Jordan Jefferson doesn't have the tools to get the ball down field. Lee and Mett both do.

I met Jordan Jefferson at the Manning passing academy this year and he seemed like a great kid. He was kind of the ring leader with all of the other Qb's that came to Thibodaux. It sucks that he put himself in this kind of situation. I hope he doesn't get suspended.

No one said that. You came to that conclusion by yourself. No one said that.

What I fear is that if JJ is done and JL becomes the starter, you might as well rip out pages upon pages from the playbook. The playbook has been tailored to fit what JJ can do on the field. If this incident happened over a month ago, then adjustments can easily be made. But we are talking about 2 weeks from kickoff. We all know JL can't execute QB running plays.

I hear what you're saying, but I think the playbook won't be as big a deal as you're suggesting. They can just call less QB running plays/options. What will be a big deal, though, is all the wasted reps on those running plays.

I'm pulling for whoever is under center of every snap of every game. If that's Jared Foster, JJ, Lee, Mett, whoever.
