Brandon Taylor was a stud for us. Some of you are selling BT very short. He made some plays!!

Taylor was a RB out of HS btw

He had brother on the team for a little while on the Off Side....WR maybe?

Brandon did play rb in highschool but he didn't much in his senior year. He was being recruited on the defensive side and that's what he focused on mainly that year. A familiar name, freshman Terrence "Ty Ty" Magee took over at rb for that year.

And yes, Brandon did have another brother come with him to LSU, Jhyrn Taylor. Was set on playing receiver and wound up moving on from LSU. Would've loved to see him get his shot. Very fast and great hands. He had one of the best highschool TD catches I've ever seen in a playoff game against RR and Bastrop. Lost that game however. It was the same night LSU lost to Darren McFadden and R-Kansas. Was a crappy football night.

Maybe I'm biased, having grown up with Curtis and knowing the family very well, but Mills has a ways to go to be compared to BT.

If he moves to safety now, yes he can be that Brandon Taylor type safety. We can't compare 2011 senior Taylor to soph Mills. Give Mills 2 years at safety then compare.

He was burnt constantly and seems to not possess the needed skills to play corner.

He was burnt a lot, especially earlier in the year when we had zero pass rush AND were getting gashed in the running game. His great plays, like his game saving play against Arky, go unnoticed it seems. That you don't think he has the skills to play corner would be funny except you're joined in your mistake by about 90% of this board. That makes it sad. Of course, you'll all disappear when Mills is drafted, as a corner.

Mills did not suck. I saw a lot of frustration in him, at least it shows he's passionate about the game.

someone might take a flyer on him late in the draft if he stays at corner. Will quickly be bounced from the league. Best chances of being a success in the NFL would be at safety. Should make the switch now.

I am not going anywhere man and will gladly eat crow if I am proven wrong. I would love to see every player succeed on the next level, but just do not see it with Mills. CB might be the toughest position and he has not shown that he has 'it'. He consistently looked completely and utterly lost in zone coverage and was supposed to be one of the veterans on the D.
