Did he see any playing time, or was he punished for missing the plane, with no playing time?

I think he was reprimanded for being a shitty corner.

Hawkins is terrible. Jai is way better. At least he can tackle the guy after he gives up a completion. Hawkins doesn't do anything productive. Jai is actually one of the best tacklers on the team. He rarely misses when he gets the chance.

J. Eugene is a liability at the corner position. His play the last 3 years have warranted my statement. Hopefully taylor brooks or claiborne steps into that position.

LSU will have 2 lock-down corners with PP and JE start next year for us

We'll need a better ofense and a fulltime Clock-Management-Coach on the side, then we will be fine.

Jai Eugene was getting ate up against Bama and he wasn't hurt. Maybe he rebounds but everytime he has touched the field against quality receivers he gets exposed big time.

Jai isn't as good as Hawkins. Jai can't keep up with receivers. Hawkins can. Jai is a good hitter though but as a corner, you don't want to be tackling guys, you want to be breaking up passes. If Jai gets faster and starts getting better angles, he will be a force to be reckoned with opposite of PP. He needs to step up for next year when people not throw to PP.

I watched a video on lsusports.net on an after bowl practice interview with Miles..Someone asked about Jahi and Miles said he is at home and his trip to Orlando was on him..Miles said if he is here he will not start but may see the field....

What did I miss??Did Jahi get suspended or something?

J'ai and Hawkins are both decent to good SEC corners. Anyone who says otherwise is misguided (at best) and needs to look at some gametape. J'ai is the better tackler but isn't as good at man to man coverage, Chris is a good man corner with good ball instincts, but without the athleticism to always make the best play on the ball or WR.

All our CBs are good, down to the true freshman Claiborne. Too many don't realize how great our DBs are to allow less than 28 points a game with a totally non existent pass rush from the front 4. No group of LSU DBs and LBs have played better and gotten less recognition for it than this year's group. Success builds at the line, and our DL was beyond horrible this year.

My lasting image of Eugene was seeing #4 eating his azz up all day, causing him to be replaced by hawkins and replaced for the rest of the year.
