After watching the Florida game where Jacob picked up first downs on 4th and a yard over and over

I watched that game on the parade grounds and my brother, who is a Texas letterman, texted me and said "Jacob Hester is a football god." I thought that about summed it up.

we just needed a yard or two and Scott (I think he ran it) came in and got shut down and we lost.

you think hester would have broken that tackle?

Helms missed his block and one of the best SEC linebackers shot through and hit him below the knees. AP wouldn't have broke that tackle

Hester was a great player for LSU, but he can't defy the laws of physics no matter how much heart he has

Agreed. Hester had more heart than anyone other player at LSU. He was always a great back. But he hurt LSU by playing in the 2nd half of that game hurt. Scott tore it up in the first half and doesn't touch the ball till the last play of the game. Don't understand it.
