Pretty good write up on his experiences with it and seeing what BH6 is going through. I dont agree with the death threats and a 20 year old kid should not have to deal with that. That is not the LSU way of handling things.

This is obvious, but sending a death threat to a player is the epitome of redneck trash. Anyone who does it is a loser with no hope in life, and I wish nothing but continued misery on him/her.

I wish he would get away from tv, radio and newspapers.

Spot on...It is a kid, yes he may not have performed to what we as LSU fans wanted him to but it gives no reason to send death threats, he still goes out and practices and prepares just as much as everyone else.

Death threats are retarded and I would have to think 99.99% are people just saying stupid shite because they are emotional retards.

Off topic but my favorite video of all time was the bama fan who went nuts on 11-6-2015 and wanted to kill Mathieu...I wish someone would post that

Even if he didn't and was the worst teammate ever who spent practice urinating in the middle of the field, death threats are ridiculous and unwarranted. It's a game. It's a big business game inducing passion and commitment, but it's a game.

Making a big deal out of death threats in 2016 is silly. Everyone gets death threats. The quality of death threats have been watered down by social media and the internet. Really not a big deal and is kinda attention seeking to mention them.

That's a fact, back in the day it took thought and effort to get a death threat sent out. You had to sit down and write a letter, get a stamp, get an envelope and mail it out to an address you had to look up. Now you can just Twitter it.

One tweet told Harris to drink bleach.

Not that its ok but is that really a death threat? Death threat in my book has always been someone saying "I am going to find you and kill you." Telling someone to drink bleach isn't really a threat.

There's no admission to being a fan of a school. Anyone can be a fan of a school. The biggest pieces of shite seem to be drawn to the more popular football teams, so this happens.

Exactly, it was shite people say to each other on tigerdroppings everyday. Whoever told him that is still a loser but they are being dramatic over these "death threats".

No sane person agrees with death threats to a college athlete.

WTF does redneck have to do with this?

And further more why is this just now an issue? It was 3 weeks ago, quit talking about it.
Let it go. It happens everywhere all the time.
Granted takes a real POS to say or post something like that , but like the Kaepernick situation, quit giving attention to it.

Are people wanting us believe that when athletes receive death threats...they actually think they are for real? Like oh shite people are trying to kill me! Id go as far as to say the people saying them dont even really want you to die. And if they do...so fricking what? Life is too short to care. Thats really all you can control. How you are effected by things.

Im not saying any person who does it isnt an intellectual midget scum bag. But...c'mon. How can you let fiction really get under your skin that bad? I remember when i was younger and someone would say "I fricked your mom" or "Your mothers a whore" or some variation id just kinda look at them and think "well you didnt and shes not so im not sure how thats supposed effect me at all". Same with this.
