I've been a negatiger for years with Miles, don't get the negativity now

I've been fed up with Miles since 2012, and usually one of the first to criticize him. That being said, I don't get the negativity last nights win has brought- and that's not because a W is a W. I've been furious with Miles for plenty of wins because his style could've easily cost us.
The play calling, we can all agree, was phenomenal in the first half. We came out the second half and our first possession Eitling misses on two throws and we have to punt. I think we had 5 second half series. One I mentioned, we had two ended by fumbles, and another killed by a crucial holding penalty. I don't think the play calling Got ultra conservative. And given a 17 point lead, at home against an outmatched opponent, with a hobbled and shuffled oline and one of the best college RB ever, I wouldn't even blame him for going a little conservative there. Hard to get into a rhythm with all those self inflicted wounds.
We could've and should've throttled them. But we survived a very weird game, that's what matters. Most importantly, you'd have to nitpick that performance to find a weakness and that's why I'm optimistic. Good play at every position on offense (aside from Fournettes fumbles but no one is worried about him). DBs were in great position all night, they sometimes could've done better at making a play on the ball. That's really the only negatives, which is great in my mind.
I don't understand how that performance couldn't get you excited about the season.

Do you even 2nd Half, bro?

Agree. The butthurt around here is kneejerk at times. Perspective is needed. We put it away easily if we catch one of those interceptions, LF7 doesn't fumble either time or we get the onsides kick.

this morning i woke up with a feeling of zen. all my negativity was gone. i am predicting a national title. and i don't think it's even gonna be that hard.

For me it's that there's a real chance to get rid of him now, essentially there's blood in the water, and I'm ready for it to blow up and get it over with.

Because miles is still the coach and as soon as he feels the seat isn't hot, he's going back to his conservative play calling. I've never seen a 3 point win over the worst team in the west at home so encouraging for so many gullible people.

I don't understand all the negativity over the play-calling either, but there is the fact that it was another one of those ugly, takes-the-fun-out-of-winning games we've had so many times with Les.

i think he's changed. the first half was a revelation. he knows the heat is on him the rest of the year. old les is gone. behold new les. it's glorious.

Play calling was fine last night. The only problem is that this is a short term solution. You people don't think he's seen the light and this will be the norm.

If there's a word to describe Miles tenure at LSU, it'd be weird.

Moo State WRs made some awesome plays. I think KT will be fine. It was a good learning experience.
Fumbles and onsides kick notwithstanding, we kicked their arse pretty good.

Don't understand if either. Even saw last night that some were saying miss st was a top tier sec team

State 17-0 in second half...had ball with a chance to win in a game we should have run them out of the stadium. They were fired up to play in 3rd qtr and we weren't.

If you didn't enjoy that win I think it says more about you than Les, our team or anyone else.

miss state is usually more fired up than lsu to play that game. it's just the way it is. lsu should be out for blood the rest of the season. i predict a run of dominance from here on out.

I don't think Les is different at all. The AD has already said he told Les prior to JSU that if the QB continued to struggle, change was needed. Without pressure from above, do you really think he would have done anything different? Thnk about all the years of JJ, Jennings, and Harris starting before you answer.

Thanks for identifying yourself. I was wondering what type of idiot would down vote his spot on post.

You keep beating around the bush... Just man up and say his name.
We all know who fumbled the ball twice killing what had been productive drives. We know who you're alluding to. Just say it.
