It’s wild the amount of rb’s Logan Diggs has blocked off (rightfully so)

Diggs has been so good that 3 seniors can’t sniff the field. Tre Bradford has been MIA since series 1. A talent like Armoni Goodwin hasn’t even gotten camera time. Let alone playtime. Sad for those guys, but that’s what should happen at a place like LSU.

We haven’t had a real SEC RB since Helaire left. That’s killed the running game and forced so much on Jayden last year. They all do things good but none were elite. As good as Diggs is, I really think the running game will be better next year with Jackson and Durham. Diggs is very good but these 2 guys are elite and they’ll be behind the most veteran and talented Oline in the country, with stud TE’s.

It’s really not surprising. None of the upperclassmen RBs are that good except Williams. So it wasn’t going to be hard to beat them out.

Bit disappointed we haven’t seen what Goodwin can do this year since supposedly healthy now. He’s the most shifty and explosive of the backs; would like to see that change of style from Diggs and Williams who are just solid hole hitters but aren’t running away from the defense when the hole is there.

And maybe even a QB that hands it off more. Not knocking JD, just guessing that the next one won't have the same wheels.

Am I the only one who thinks this is maybe the strangest thing of the season.

He really wasn’t expected to a whole lot this year. Hell, I wasn’t even sure he’d be on the team given his history.

Then he gets the first series, almost takes the first play of the year to the house. And poof….vanished.

First of all Tre doesn’t deserve shite.
Second of all Emery doesn’t deserve shite.
But Kaleb and Josh are getting touches when Diggs needs rest.
Very good job by coach identifying this early in the season.
Diggs will play very well at the next level with his vision and burst when he sees a hole.
Also he doesn’t go backwards, like ever. Strong MF

I'd love to see Diggs return for another year, but I understand the whole injury concerns and the short shelf life for NFL backs. It's just a pleasure to see LSU with a really good back. For a long time, we just took it for granted that the Tigers would have productive running backs.....and defensive backs.

Only one I feel bad for is Noah Cain. He came home last year and helped us in games. He simply doesn’t have the talent

Gonna be nice having him this year and possibly next with Kaleb Jackson to be the next guy.

TDP was a solid back. His biggest issue was running behind the worst LSU offensive line in years and the staff trying to emulate the 2019 offense but with Brennan/Johnson/Finley instead of Burrow.

Logan Diggs is a NFL back. I am talking barring injury a 8 year veteran ( I say 8 because of shelf life of RB these days ) Diggs has no weakness in his game and his most impressive trait is his blitz pick up and protecting the QB. He is a complete 3 down back. I know RB's is a devalued position in today's game but I could see him going first round. To a team close to the top of the league that needs a complete do it all back.

Ain’t no denying that CBK and co understand what capacity the offense must fire at in order to win.

If the defense starts playing better, then we can attribute the early season woes to simply not having at DL coach.

Game 1

Tre actually scored our 1st TD of the year in series 2.

And hasn’t played in game since.
