2009 LSU Baseball is the worst #1 team ever in the history of #1 teams in all sports and/or other ranked things according to the voters on tigerdroppings.com/DA_RANT
Really, if someone that doesn’t pay attention to college baseball read this board they’d think we were at least 10 games under .500

I guess if everyone thought everything was rosey and sweet, TD wouldnt be much fun. But I do agree alot of folks tend to over exaggerate and over think most things surrounding LSU sports. We got a whole damn Rant full of coaches and brilliant minds, wouldnt surprise me if the coaches check here for advise before every game.

Maybe over the course of 40 years, but they are unbearable going from the current games and seasons. Which if you compare the Saints last few years to other teams last few years, they aren't a bad team.

considering the amount of people that follow baseball compared to football, I'd say yes, its worse. A greater percentage of our baseball fans are retarded or they are LSU football fans who check out the baseball team when we are top 10.

yeah i guess so. i'm feeling like they are doing extremely well. getting middle relief in order before the end of the season should have us as Vegas fav or damn close.

I don't think we're the worst #1 in history but I do think there are a handful of teams you could put at #1 and couldn't argue that they shouldn't be. There's no really flat out dominant team this year. I also think we aren't playing to 100% potential swinging the bats. If we were hitting better we would be great with out pitching.

Why on earth would you want to peak in April? It's a long season. You hope to improve as the season goes along and play your best ball come mid-May and June.

I'm not saying they should peak I'm just saying a few weeks ago we were pretty damn low in every hitting stat in the SEC. If we got to the middle of the pack we'd be great.
