It's great when LSU loses

After the win the other day, there wasn't one freakin thread on the board. Let LSU lose and the board is full of A-holes bitching up a storm. Losses are much better for Tigerdropping-rant traffic.

Yes, of course, LSU lost their two best players to the NBA draft and replaced both of them with one player and I had them penciled in to get to the sweet 16.
The difference between LSU and Kentucky of a few years ago is Kentucky had five players drafted. LSU has one right now.
Blame yourself for unrealistic expectations, because I can honestly say that I knew better.

I know the pile on is huge, it's what your OP is about, but LSU should be an NCAAT this year.

Well thats just a flat out lie!!
I distinctly remember a bunch of games that the LSU football team won and yet the board was full of bitches starting threads about how much CLM and his staff suck and should be fired because we only won by a few points and should have scored 70 if not for horrible coaching and a shitty QB.
So don't be trying to short change how spoiled and unrealistic our fan base is, I for one won't stand for it!!!

They build up unrealistic expectations based on nothing then when the crazy expectations don't happen they go ballistic blaming everything from the players to the coaching. The fault lies with the fan for being too dumb to know anything about the sport they are bitching about.

68 teams make the NCAAT. LSU has enough pieces to easily be in that number - especially in a weak season overall.

So let me try to understand this...you pay a coach a million fricking dollars a year and you should not expect better than what we are getting? Do you think about fif Todd Graves paid someone that kind of money to run Canes and got similar results he would say maybe my expectations are unrealistic? Come on man...that is just stupid!

I've come here after hoops losses many times the last few years and there really wasn't near as much hoopla as this year.
I'd actually take the opposite tact and say I like it. It means folks care. I'd much prefer it to apathy.
When you accept underachievement it is bound to continue.
And had we won I'd be on here celebrating like no other. But we pulled another play good team defense for 8-10 minutes then....meh, that's enough. I'm tired.
