I'm with shoe...

I like TJ. He's a good guy. I thought the recruiting from last year and this year would set us up, but I don't see it now. Combine that with the late game execution I was forced to stomach last year...and I'm still a bit pissed.

Players hate tj. ... All the players there are miserable. It's like going to work everyday and hating your boss.

Just know that this quote comes from a very in the know person. All I can say.

Also, Matt says Purdue or Clemson is where he is headed.

CT is tied in with the BR Sports Academy .. he steered Tasmin Mitchell, Tyrus Thomas, Big Baby, and his own son -- Garrett, Brady's way .. Brady didn't have to leave the 225 area code and he had a Final Four team ... CT didn't just do that out of the kindness of his heart, just like none of the other AAU "coaches" steer kids for free ... word on the street is that he let TJ know how things were done and TJ told him "no thanks" ... then CT proceeds to pout and bad mouth TJ to local recruits ... then, in steps Dale before things get too ugly and public ..

You forgot Daryl Mitchell CT had nothing to do with getting him or Tasmin Mitchell, Tasmin is Butch Pierre's god child so he was an LSU lock. Trent snubbed everyone who could help him. TJ's has no relationship with guys in the state who could help him, he has made no effort to revive or change course from this debacle he has built here. I am amazed people still defend a guy who has won 5 games in two years in a terribly weak conference. TJ's ship has sailed and from what I know we have already got a guy who is ready to step in and will be good here. I stated when we hired TJ he was the wrong guy for this job and up to this point has done nothing to change my opinion. As someone who has been involved in LSU bb for a long time you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to CT, he tried very hard to help TJ and was told no thanks. There are guys like CT at every program in the country and without guys like CT this is the product you get, the worst 2 years in LSU bb history and possibly another one coming up. It amazes me that people do not realize the importance of having guys like CT involved in your program. If you are happy with hoping we can get in the NIT or go 500 in the league the next couple of years then TJ is your guy, I for one would have hoped TJ in his fourth year would have us thinking we would be in the tourney for sure. MT5 made Tj look like a genius and without players like that TJ cannot get it done, up to this point he does not have a player who could sniff MT5's jock. Your dreaming if you think TJ can get it done here, he is done here and IMO wants to be.

you think there's a leading candidate already to replace Trent? Don't let it be some old re-tread like Tim Floyd

If we're gonna get someone iffy just get Bruce Pearl
