Where do they threaten the tigers?

Well according to their delusional fans, Hurts is going to have about 250 yds rushing and 3 TD’s, and another 300 yds passing and 5 or 6 TD’s on our soft defense.
Lamb is gonna have 25 catches for over 300 yds and 5 TD’s. He’s the best receiver on the planet apparently. He runs a 4 flat 40, and can catch BB’s at night.
So, they’re gonna hang 70+ on us.
Oh, and their defense is like nothing we’ve faced. We’ll be lucky to scratch out one TD and maybe a FG or two in garbage time.

Well, because LSU was just average in the 70's-90's, the Tigers have no shot at winning this game.

It is plausible that a few of them might make a better corn dog.

Have a downvote for using "afraid" in a sentence referring to an LSU foe.

OU will score some points. They are very good
With that said I like how we match up and think it will be like Bama OU last year
Also, Ou has a history of being behind and storming back. If we take a big lead we need to bury them. They were down by 25+ to both Baylor and K State and took no time to come back in both

My take: they have some weapons that could give us problems.
-Lincoln Riley is one of the best scheme guys in the country (back to back heismans wasn’t a fluke), there’s a reason he’s on the top of most NFL lists. He’ll have some wrinkles for us that we’re gonna have to account and adjust for.
-Jalen Hurts can kill us w his legs, he’s done it before at Bama. We’ve also had some (albeit overblown) struggles w mobile qbs, this will be a challenge for our D.
-Lamb is elite and will need our best out of the secondary. Inevitably there will be times he’s in single coverage, hope our guy is better on those plays.
-Their run scheme involves a ton of counters w OLs pulling all the time. Schematically, this will be challenging for our D. If I was them I’d run it a lot.
Those are the only four things I can come up with. Nothing in their defense worries Me, given what we’ve done against much better units. I Expect JB and the guys to score at least 40, prob 50. Can’t see them getting more than 28.
LSU 47
OU 23

That sir, is a damn fine take on things. I concur.

Good summary.
Their offense is legit, but the highest ranked defense that OU has played is #28 TCU.
We’ve faced and shredded 4 top 25 defenses this year. OU’s defense is ranked #25.

This is troublesome because on more than a few occasions LSU's LB's and safeties have gotten completely lost on counter plays. A big question is against THAT offense is Aranda comfortable playing Hampton to allow Delpit to play near the line?
The second worry is that this team MUST tackle. We know that Hurts can shrug off weak tackle attempts. Don't worry about the big hit. Just bring the guy down

You just hit the nail on the head, I sure hope Aranda goes to Hampton and rolls down Delpit and Stevens and let them wreak havoc. Hope they go after Jalen like they went after Mond. Only concern is Vincent.

I agree with your analysis, I would accentuate that given the extra time to prepare schematicaly on defense this should play heavily into our Defense's favor.

I also think all of those concerns are irrelevant if we can keep Hurts in the pocket AND get some level of consistent pressure.
There's NO way Hurts is beating us with his arm, he simply doesn't have it. If we're able to stop their run and keep him between the tackles I expect LSU to blow the doors off them.

Only thing i am worried about is that stupid horse buggy tipping over and landing in Burrow. If we can avoid that, I don't think they have a chance.
