There's (maybe) only 1.

ETA: Haven't you learned your lesson when it comes to arguing with Rick? You're pissing in the wind.

This year is different. I want you to list me the FEW teams that have more talent than LSU does this year. There MAY be

Agreed. But you have to admit most of our talent is wr,rb,and db. Id give up wr talent for dline talent every day.
Hopefully Key makes that jump to superstar status.

Are you 3 really sitting here saying bama wasn't vastly more talented than lsu in 2014&2015?
There is no way that Peej,Teddy and Penrod (my brother from another mother)actually believe that lsu was just as talented as bama in 2014 &2015

At no point have i said anything close to that, but you keep assuming i think we are on the same level as Bama.

I could give 2 shits what the recruiting rankings say and i don't follow it at all. Didnt' Dylan Moses just get moved down to a 4 star? One site shows him as 5th best overall, another at 32, one a 4 star, other a 5 star. I bet if he commits to Bama he's a 5 star everywhere.

LSU has proven that they can find 3 and 4 stars that turn out to be talented enough to play in the NFL.

You are still trying to use recruiting rankings to say LSU isn't more talented than most teams.

Every year we see the same thing at the NFL draft. From LSU, From Alabama, From Florida State, From USC, From Ohio State, From Florida and recently there's been a good bit of From Stanford, yet we dont' hear that much about them recruiting.

In the last 2 years bama has seperated from even lsu.

Indeed Bama's recruiting is other-worldly now. But our five game losing streak was accomplished by players at both schools who are roughly equal in talent as measured by matriculation to, and performance in, the NFL. The real difference is talent concentration in position groups at LSU, while Bama has the talent, and experience, at all position groups. And any look back over a short period will be skewed by us suddenly halting the early defections. That creates a seam in the continuum that distorts the statistics.

I also think - and this will take a couple of years to ascertain - that the last two years, 2015 and 2016, LSU caught up in recruiting. I think LSU's 2015 class might be the best LSU class of all time. It was only rated 6th, but look at it in hindsight!

Plus we are now recruiting evenly across position groups. I want to see them add some linebackers, but 2017 is looking very well rounded, as was 2016.
