It seems eerily quite on the "Pendergast Front" lately...

No flight tracking? No super secret "I heard it from a reliable source? Nobody's cousin's/aunt's/nail technician's brother seen showing houses to his Mom (he's unmarried & lives w his parents)?
There was a lot of talk about him a few days ago & now, nothing? Nothing except talk of other candidates being contacted by LSU. Just wondering because I'd LOVE to see Pendergast at LSU.

he may not have the "chest" to coach here. Or he has other options. TBH, I could see us getting Shoop. I hope for Pendergast and coach O reunion.

A lot of speculation that putting the pieces together really depends on what Brick decides to do.

Could be a good thing. Could be hammering out a potential contract. Just look at Harbaugh and Michigan.

don't think we need to worry. The Chavis leaving thing was pretty quiet till the day off. I don't think quite means he isn't coming.

Everything reported about him the last few months screams NFL. Haslett parting ways with Redskins essentially signals Pendergast will be their next DC. He's been 'consulting' with them already about defense.

Only thing that kind of worries me about Pendergast is that he lives with his elderly parents. Does he want to leave or uproot his elderly parents to come to LSU when there is a LOT of doubt about Miles & how long he'll be at LSU thus not knowing how long he will be at LSU. Could be a major part of his decision.

Just curious why Bebe was on the radio today promoting Pendergras and saying how he would be interested as a position coach. Sounded like they have details to work out on the existing staff. Who knows?

I would think that LSU will have 2-3 guys whom they are willing to offer the job to before anyone is truly offered.
It's a bad idea to target one guy at a time because if the guy says no, then you are back at square one.
My guess is that LSU has been working to get its candidates lined up for an interview next week. There are likely 2-3 of them.
The Pendergast info has slowed down but so has all info.
