It really was a glorious day at Tiger Stadium yesterday

With the smaller crowd the atmosphere outside of the stadium had a weird but cool vibe. Kind of like a street festival type feel. Even ran into some old friends.
The weather was pretty cooperative. Even being in the east side it never go overly hot. (though it would have been even nicer if the cloud cover hadn't broken up just before the game). And getting to sit on the 40 in the lower bowl was a treat.
The crowd in the stadium wasn't the biggest of course but the lower bowl between the sidelines was pretty filled. And it wasn't the loudest due to the numbers but everyone seemed to stay all the way till the end and stay engaged in the game.
The game was very enjoyable. Watching both Fornette and Guice (and Williams as well) running wild was great. And watching the passing game starting to click was even better. Dupre had an excellent game.

Leaving and getting home from the game in under 30 minutes was also a nice treat.
Reinforces my opinion that they should limit the people on campus on gameday to ticket holders.
YEAH I SAID IT! BRING ON THE DOWNVOTES!

Ah so make us more like the great Gameday experiences the NFL provides?
How about no.
How about no.

But what about the fans who can't get tickets?
But it was a great day in Tiger Stadium

I actually found the after game traffic was not one of the good points. But that may be because the lot we got a parking pass for was the opposite side from my son and his friends' apartment and after we promised them a ride back the conta flow had us going in circles.

It was a great day, all around. Concession and restroom lines were reasonable, fans were upbeat, weather was fantastic! So glad I went.

It was louder than I expected with such a small crowd.
I loved not leaving so early, and getting a good parking place under a big oak tree, with a simple low keyed tailgate spread.
And in the stadium, they were serving watermelon lemonade in imitation mason jars, and that shite was absolutely delicious and refreshing.

The crowd at the start of the 4th quarter didn't really look much smaller than a typical 4th quarter crowd in Tiger Stadium. It was nice seeing the vast majority of the crowd staying for the whole game.

I liked that little kid dressed up in the full LF Fournette uniform that was doing that Heisman dance, they kept showing on the big screen.
They also found that idiot in the student section that dresses in a suit and makes retarded faces. He was getting shown up by the kid and was working hard to look even more retarded. His schtick is getting tired.

It was one of the best games I ever been to in TS. I loved no traffic before or after the game. Plus sitting on the 45 yrd line on west side was awesome. The 40k fans bonded together and was really loud. The weather was gorgeous. Now back to my tickets in the south end zone against the gators and 200k on campus this Saturday.

Yeah. That kid was great. The whole stadium was cheering for him. It was great to see something so genuine.

We should put you in charge of making good things suck.

I wonder if anyone can make a gif of that, with him going in and out of the heisman pose?

That kid was awesome. He got everyone fired up.

We had a great time at the game. It was the best day game I've been to.

That kid needs to be on the big screen way more than the retarded tuxedo guy. He was great!

We noticed the same thing. Could be some relationship between buying your own ticket and staying. Could be the corp give aways are a large proportion of those leaving early.

He was awesome. He had the whole stadium with him.
Saw lots of families with kids. It was good to see the next generation of Tiger fans getting a taste of Tiger Stadium.
The guy one row behind us had a kid who looked to be maybe 7 or 8 and the dad did a great job of explaining the game to him. And he was asking good questions - about delay of game penalties and things like that. I turned around and gave the little guy a high five after one good Tiger play and my wife complimented the dad on his commentary on the game.
