A few years ago there was a three way tie in the Big 12 South, with Texas having beaten Oklahoma, losing to Texas Tech, Texas Tech beating Texas, losing to Oklahoma and you get the picture.
Guess what? They put Oklahoma in the Big 12 Champ game, which they won and then lost in the NC game to Florida in Miami. (I cheered for the SEC team in January 2010 but this year may the SEC team lose in Miami.)

Their selection was by rule, not bias. They subsequently changed to rules to resemble the SEC's.

Maybe we should consider beating Bama first.

Yes, but the SEC has bias as the rule, hence we get Chick in 2005 after winning SEC West and beating gumps and whorehens, who go to NY days bowls. In 2011 we get a redo with gumps instead of facing a one-loss, conference champ OK State that had a much tougher sched than gumps. This year we get Chick while Ags & Cocks get NY Day Bowl games and the SEC East Champ had to be protected and get a NY Day bowl.

Everyday I wonder what new depths of unintelligent thought someone will conjure up and post on this site.

Imagine my delight upon reading this gem.

"Let's leave the SEC as a charter member to climb on the sinking ship that's the Big XII because of Alabama's proximity to the SEC offices?

Thank you original poster. Call it morbid curiosity, but I have to ask, are you 10, was it a car wreck, or did the umbilical chord get wrapped around your neck at birth?

But I tell you what, you start getting the committee together, and I'll do everything I can to help. ( you forgot to mention Florida also has an ex-LSU coach. We should probably get Nebraska to come back)

Geaux Big XII.

"Competitive Imbalance" is the phrase which should stick in your head. It was used by Alleva at the last SEC meetings. It means the Gumps play with the wind at their backs every year, we play into the wind.

If you say 'just beat Bama', we did last year, in their stadium, and they said 'do it again'.

Boycott the bowl games, ESPECIALLY boycott Tuscaloosa. Buy the tickets and stay home. If the hotels and restaurants are empty they'll bitch for you.

Yep. Oh, I was watching ESPN this morning and they were talking about the BCS and they said that teams should have to win their conference to be in the Championship Game. Of course, that was completely dropped last year.

You know that in 2003 Strength of Schedule weighed heavily and we eeked out over SC to play Oklahoma. Oh, the media weeped because $C got left out. So strength of schedule was done away to hardly anything. They also commented about "winning your conference" then. Last year, had strength of schedule still been in the equation as it originally was, we would have played Oklahoma State instead of gump redo. ESPN, pushed the "eye test" last year.

I really wish Ohio State weren't on probation this year.

Yeah, i dont post a lot but this is a terrible idea. If you think leaving the sec for big 12 is a good idea, just sub UT in for bama and that's the position you'd be in. Why do you think tamu wanted out so bad? We just need detective Fulmer out to dig up some dirt and we are good.

What I want is to be treated fairly in the Sec. They have gone out of their way to frick us his year from the bama grad schedule to making sure we go to he shitty bowl all because we have become a threat to bama. Our biggest rivals coach is running the show. You really think we have a shot. Someone that can cgi need to do a picture with savant as Lucy holding the football and mike the tiger tryin to kick it. Instead of dealing with reality you guys just want to say well hell as long as we beat everyone by 20 and bama twice we are good so quit bitching. No problem we will just do that every season against a team with equal talent better coaches and the refs in their pocket. Might as well plan on winning the lottery

I said consider dumbasses consider . Do you want to be treated fairly or not. If you are happy being bamas little bitch then just say so. We get paid well so getting butt fricked is ok. That makes you a little bitch whore. Otherwise, lets grow some balls and make this shite stop now. Whether it is SVP flooding the airways over next weeks to get media involved talking to Florida and the other pissed off schools, lawsuits rule changes to burning the fricking Sec offices to the ground it should all be on the table. But we should do something other that bitch and whine which is what we are dong now. All you miles haters just think we bring in a new coach and as an leaves and all will be ok. You just haven't lived long enough to know that is bullshite. They have built a system that gives them a competitive advantage so we are always swimming up stream

Let's just leave the ncaa all together. Then we can pay players, unlimited rosters, make our schedule, anything we want. Dumb.

To be the best you have to play and beat the best that is all that people should think about. The retard gumps do have more clout and always have because of where the SEC office is. The scheduling sucks, but hey if LSU takes care of buisness unlike this year then they can't be denied.
