It would be a fricking nightmare and tons of LSU fans would be left outside.

It's okay. I've planned ahead...

So tired of LSU fans bugging about ULL. It's not really a rivalry, people.

I don't see them getting beat in a Regional in Lafayette. But of course it could happen.

Sounds like a plan, broseph.

I'm not joking about renting that beast, tho. $490 for the week.

You could save the $490 and just climb one of the many trees that are beyond the outfield wall

I would think the series would present about a 50/50 chance of winning. Most games ULL has lost has been game three of a series. LSU has always a very good chance of winning with Nola on the mound. Winning game one would be vital. Win game one and LSU wins the series IMHO. Make no mistake though, ULL is legit this year.

Agree with the bulk of statement above. LSU is a contender with Nola or Poche. Two quality Sec pitchers rt there. Nola has an outstanding chance to win, maybe 75% or better. Poche is a good pitcher with good stuff. One of better pitchers ULL would see this year. If the staff holds up, LSU could use Cartwright for 5-6, Bouman for a couple and Bugg, Cune for an out or two then Broussard.

You act like this is a new development. It's been a possibility all season. I've said all along this season feels like 2001 and 2005.

Those are the only two seasons a Louisiana school other than LSU was a national seed. Both years LSU hosted and was paired with national seed Tulane.

I hate doing this...nope, I love it because I just can't stand ULL!

Any time ULL wins 40 games -

1997 - 43-18, lost in Starkville
1999 - 42-24, lost in Houston Super Regional
2000 - 49-20, Lost in Omaha (Finished 3rd)
2005 - 48-19, Lost in New Orleans Regional
2007 - 45-17, Lost in College Station Regional
2013 - 43-20, Lost in Baton Rouge Regional

They rarely make it out the Regionals. So until they prove they can, I don't see them making it past the Supers

Let's just hope ULL doesn't get paired up with the Ole Miss regional.

That would be the best thing to happen. No team loses in a super regional like Ole Miss does

See Stats above

ULL and Ole Miss might end up going 28 innings before someone finally gives in and says, "Alright fine, one of us has to go to a Super."
