No.

This team has no sticks. It's talent is wide but shallow. Fizzle out just like the others. Bertman Ball is dead and gone.

They had 8 players drafted and became shite after that season because of it.

We have 3 players on the Golden Spikes watch list. More than any other team. Quiet? No.

I think a lot of people think this team is flawed. Myself included, because of starting pitching depth.

I think 2013 was much better suited for a deep run. Until Nola lost.

This team is better than 2013. This lineup alone is the reason. It trumps the lesser pitching IMO.

I wouldn't go that far. We missed Vandy and Florida and got A&M and Arky when they were down.

we're the worst 43-8 team ever... only two starters, can't get the big out

I like the 13 pitching staff a little better.

I think that 13 team with the new baseballs could have won it all. I was disappoibted for those guys that put everything they had and came up short.

Otherwise, this team is better.

I did just fap to the idea of a combined 13/15 roster though

We are a more complete team then both Vandy & UF. We have probably the best hitting team since the 04 team and that makes up for the youth on our pitching staff. Our speed and defense I think sets us apart from a lot of good teams and is something not many people talk about. Anything can happen in the postseason and I can't wait to see what we can do

Here it is again and Ell your in the post. Why did I get so hammered last night for saying the exact thing word for word as this guy, the broadcast team from today's game and another thread started today yet all these people get a pass....I mean does my breath stink or something???

Team reminds me of the 2009 squad. No huge winning streaks. Very consistent. Lose 1 series they shouldn't. Just a very business man like regular season.

I'd take Poche or Lange (whoever you consider our #2) over Eades or Glenn.

right now, we don't seem to have an obvious closer

I think Bugg, Person, and Newman are pitching very well out of the bullpen as of late and form a solid core. I think Stallings has dropped down a notch or two on the list now and will be somewhere in middle relief at this point. Maybe setup. Change it up because he's just not seeing it right now.

But see I don't think we need to have one person designated as a closer. See how the game is going, how rested your bullpen is at that point and make the decision from there. Don't say "Oh it's the 9th inning, we have to bring this guy in"
