Just wondering because I know we have some questions regarding our pitching rotation we really haven't been shut down all year by anyone and no team is safe 1-9 because even our 9 guy is only player under 300 is our best Homerun threat.

Getting back to my point which past years Tiger Teams do y'all feel were possibly better than these 2015 Tigers. Fun to watch this aggressive bunch go after it that's all I can say.

I don't remember the 90s teams but we had some great lineups in that era, but everyone had a lineup like that back than with those -5 bats.

but this is the best lineup since CPM has been here.

Tough to compare to the juiced era.

I think the '97 lineup was killer. Almost all the starters on that team had more than 5 HRs. But like above me said, they were juiced.

Brandon Larson
Eddie Furniss
Blair Barbier
Mike Koerner
Tom Bernhardt - had a horrible CWS, if I remember correctly
Danny Higgins
Casey countz
Trey McClure
Wes Davis
Clint Earnhart
Jeremy Witten

Then you throw in the pitchers, which were pretty good too
Patrick Coogan
Chris Demouy
Doug Thompson
Kevin Shipp
Dan Guillory
Brian Daughtery

yep, this actually wouldn't be your typical juiced era lineup. Stevenson and Laird's approach would never happen in that era.

It's not the best IMO. Still great though. I just hope we get a chance to face Carson Fulmer.

He was on the all-tournament team in the '97 CWS. Might be thinking of someone else

9 or 10 players with 10+ HRs, and Cresse had 8 or 9 as a freshman backup. Everyone who had an AB hit at least one HR.

To ctf's point, a lot of teams were juiced and the bats were lightning rods...but the numbers we were putting up were still crazy compared to everyone else.

Pretty sure it was 11 players with double digit hrs. Impressive when you think we can only start 9. 2 reserves had 10+

You can't compare this to gorilla ball in my opinion it is just two different types of baseball. This is a very very good hitting team though.

That lineup had a few major leaguers and hit what, .340 as a team? That was also after the first bat change.

2000 and 1997 were ungodly.

2009 was pretty damn good.

Considering the new bats and overall style of play of today's game 2013 needs to be in the discussion.
