It's typical fandom. It is a UGA blog. They have to do what they can to convince themselves that they have a chance. I don't blame them. As far as LSU not having to play the #1 team, who the hell do they practice against all year? That, IMO, is a big reason LSU is a DAMN strong team. They've played #1 probably 50 times this year.

No, he's not serious. This is his schtick. Go back and look at his article before the GA/FLA game, and look at his twitter account.
He's a UGA fan, and he's been doing this before big games. He trolls with ridiculous arguments, just to get people all riled up with him.
I actually find it pretty funny. He's able to come up with arguments that seem plausible at first, but are absurd the more you think about them. And the people freaking out on Twitter are hilarious.
