Is there any chance LSU denys offering a contract to Cam?

Or does Miles have full say on who gets to run the offense? Can LSU administration just flat out say they're not giving this guy a salary?

They could technically, but that's basically what Alleva said last week he won't do. They may disagree about contracts for assistants behind closed doors but it would be absolutely retarded of both of them to let it get to that point. So, maybe.

Yes and No. It is Miles call, but Board has to approve contracts and salaries. I dunno if it has ever been done before, but the board could simply deny to approve a reasonable salary, thereby sending the message to Miles that he must hire someone else.

I think it's time to accept the fact that Cam is going to be here for another year. They'll probably give him a one year extension on his current contract or some kind of one year deal.

Cam will coach the Bowl game than a decision will likely be made.

Hiring a new OC would buy Miles a lot of mileage. Let's just hope Cameron comes back with Travin and we compete at a better level. We just saw a team quit in November again. Grimes blocking schemes and Cam's inability to teach (like Algebra) have to get fixed.

it would be a horrible precedent to set.

First, someone offers him a contract to steal him away from us(I find it disappointing this hasn't happened yet).

Second, Alleva offers him double to stay.

Third, LSU is stuck with this dysfunction till Les is gone.

Well, I guess the fact that there has been no talk of a new contract (that I've heard anyway) at least says something. Exactly what it says I'm not sure, but I think it has some significance).

Is there any chance you can learn to spell "denies" correctly?

It is not blocking scheme. It's a QB that despite what Miles says, can't make all the throws and freshmen lineman getting their asses kicked. They also put a guard at left tackle.

Miles picks his assistants, but the AD works out the details of the contract.

Miles wanted Chavis to stay but AD would not give Chavis the contract he wanted.

Cam is going to have to agree to "Miles clause" and no pay increase if he wants to stay.

None. No chance.

We need a thread that says "100% cam is back next year" stickied.
