Is there a player with biggest improvement than JD for LSU from one year to the next?

I know Burrow was solid his first year starting but was a drastic improvement also to the following season. JD I felt slowly improved last year but man he’s on fire this year. I really do think he can be good in the NFL. Trying to think of other players aside from Burrow, at any position, that has improved that drastically from one year to the next

He’s a good one. I knew there was a WR but couldn’t recall which one, Bowe was who I was trying to think of

Both Burrow and Daniels made giant jumps from one year to the next. It’s hard to say who made the bigger improvement.

Go look at JD’s stats from 2022. He was a very good, record setting QB. The difference is that he flipped a switch to pass first. He essentially unlocked what we all saw was possible. Burrow was solid in 2018 but I never expected a Heisman run from him.

Good point, I remember JD playing better than many here acted like.

Many, many players have had far greater second year improvements than JD5.

The myth of JDs struggles last year is just that, a myth. We don't have near the success last year without the exploits of Daniels.

He has certainly improved his play this year, but to say he played poorly last year is bullshite.

CEH went from a mediocre season at running back to the third-best rushing year in school history from 2018 to 2019. He more than doubled his rushing yards on only 50% more carries.

Not sure if it is better but it was pretty darn good.

I don’t think he played poorly last year, felt he was good. He’s elite imo this year. Poster above is correct in saying he was playing great last year, much better than solid. I can agree with that. Always thought he was good last year, but major difference this season imo. Maybe not as major as I thought though

He’s a good one, I wasn’t very impressed with him the first year

Nick Brossette made a huge leap from 2017 to 2018 but that was more about opportunity than improvement.

Go ahead and name a few then, at LSU mind you.

The OP said that zero times. Don't read things into what was posted that are clearly not there.
