Seriously? We aren't talking $2 million, $17 million big ones. I know LSU has cash but is $17 million really not a big deal?

Blows my mind that $17 million isn't a big deal. Good lord. Or should I say, the University would be "willing" to pay that.

Alleva and LSU cannot afford to lose the fans. That 17 mil is over an extended period of time, so it wouldn't be that much yearly. Thing keep going south and you will see football revenue really fall off. Tough spot to be honest. I think Les deserves one more year though.

How much revenue and profit do you think LSU generates off of one home game? Not to mention the TV contract.

No one has to write a $17 million check today. It's not like LSU has to build up a Christmas Fund. Geez.

They donated over 7 mill to the university this year with their surplus. The answer is no, 2 mill a year (even less if MIles takes a job in 2016) is not that much,

Really is pathetic that the University negotiated themselves into this position. Thanks Arkansas.
