Is Quentin Thomas the only Scholarship player left from the 2011 team?

I looked at rosters but cant remember anybody else. Watching the LSU UGA game and just thought about it, kind of crazy how fast time flys, this seems like only a season or 2 ago...

I believe he's the only redshirt senior scholarship player on the team still, so ya. LSU isn't redshirting many players anymore.
If Mickey Johnson hung around, he would be too.

Any word on how his off-season has been? I remember last season there was a lot of talk about him being a first rounder before his injury

I havent heard anything, would be a big plus if he went beast mode this year.

That 2011 class was so hit and miss, it seems like either studs or guys who did nothing.

Would be great if he did, but all the previous hype was simply that. He's a good, solid player but not a first round defensive lineman.
Hope I'm wrong, would be glad to admit if it worked out for him. Honestly, I don't look for him to start although he should get playing time if he's healthy.

No there wasn't. I remember Moffitt was asked about workouts and some of the stronger players on the team before the season and he said that QT is really strong and is a player who could potentially be an NFL player 1 day...
But there was no talk about him being a 1st rounder. Ever.

Shea definitely said on 24/7 his sources mentioned the possibility of Thomas earning a lot of money last season, which probably implies he was a top 3 round pick

QT is really well put together and if he's ready to go vs McNeese there's no worries at DT for me. He'lol definitely get playing time in the 2nd platoon.
