Word is the LSU ticket office is dumping excess tickets below face value on Stubhub. If this is accurate it is total crap to the season ticket holders. This sets the market and screws those 65k that are loyal season ticket holders. Wait until next year when you see a mass dumping of season tickets!

I don't know if this in particular is true but I do know that LSU is doing just about everything wrong that they possibly can at this point so it wouldn't surprise me.

I think it's season ticket holders not wanting a 2:30 kickoff combined with poor play.

LSU still has tickets for sale at full price on lsusports.net.

So lsu season ticket holders are going to dump season tickets off of speculation that the athletic department dumped tickets on stubhub?

Yea. Okay.

They very well could be. I don't trust anyone in the Athletic department operations anymore.

Damn I sold my 3 tickets in 402 for 126 each on Tues. I can actually get seats a few rows down now and pay the stub hub fees and still turn profit now.

No we will dumn because

Production value

There is no real wait list anymore

Secondary market without fees is cheaper for better seats than paying for season.

LSU sells us tickets to play crap to teams at 30 dollars a ticket not including TAF fees and runs to Groupon and sells tickets for 15 each.

I pay 300 dollars each game for my family to watch Troy and Chatanooga. I can cancel and pay 120 total easily for better seats for those dame games.

I’ve never understood why season ticket holders always complain about this type of thing. It’s the free market. If LSU is selling them, they have every right to do so. As a season ticket holder, YOU decided to buy them.

Somebody listened in Micro Econ. This. The demand isn't there. The days of LSU gouging LSU Fan's eyes out are inevitably coming to an end.

The point is that if for no home game you can get premium tickets on Stubhub for less than face value plus all the drama associated with the program, longtime season ticket holders like myself will not continue.

Because its not a free market for loyal ticket holders. Our prices never go down only up. Then on top of face value we are hit with TAF fees we cant recover.

Hell this year we played ONE less game at home and we didn't even get a break on the cost.

I get that. But YOU decide to buy them. Be like everyone else & buy tix to only games you want to attend. You come out way ahead supposed to being a season ticket holder.

This really isn’t true because you can claim on your taxes.

No they haven't as this is the first year of stubhub. They also had a waitlist until this year. No waitlist equals 35k extra tickets they must sell to fill the place. Right now you are lucky if you get 1/2 of face value for any home game no matter where they are located.

I believe LSU and Stubhub have a partnership. That maybe the reason.

For the TAF/Tradition Fund to make a difference on your tax liability you have to have plenty of deductions, including mortgage interest.

If the team tanks to finish out the season and keeps O, I won't renew my season tix. $680 each ticket including TAF fees for 6 games and the 3 games so far were all games that I could've gotten tickets on StubHub for $30. I could buy tickets on secondary market cheaper and don't get stuck with having to basically give away tickets to the games I can't make.

How loyal could those season ticket holders be if they are selling them?
