Well then, since Peveto is gone the logical choice is for him to get his promotion here, buuuuuut...
Which is exactly my point of how nobody in the SEC wants these bozos on their staffs, not even Miles...now how smart was it of Miles making these guys co-dc's?
Ah-haaaaaaaaa

I had warmed to Miles since his hire - Sending Jimbo Fisher packing and upgrading the offense in the process; bringing in Bo Pelini to run the D; kicking Perriloux off the team are three examples of good moves on Miles part, IMO.
What set me back (further from where I started) was how he handled the adversity this year. Deflecting the criticism of the teams performance from the coaches to the players translated into them laying down for opponents and openly challenging the coaches during the game.
That is why I am concerned that the issues that need to be fixed are more complex than simply replacing the D Coordinators. Time will tell and in spite of my doubts, will plan on making the roadtrip to Seattle for the Washington game.

Thanks for a post that, I guess, I've been wanting to yell for weeks now, but couldn't find a way to say it calmly.
The second paragraph is right on the money!!!! But will add they challenged coaches during the week too. (see UF week)

I happen to know someone who was not accepted to Grad school at LSU so this person ended up at the
Meeeeeeeeeeeechigan Grad School.
Meeeeeeeeeeeechigan Grad School.

I can to name them because they are assistant coaches who are NOT being considered by big time teams. PERIOD.
Mallory has been hired by Indiana, Maryland and Oklahoma State. Peveto was hired by Arkansas. Those are all BCS conference programs. Thus, both of these coaches Miles hired were more than considered for hiring by BCS conference teams, they actually were hired by them.

No one said Miles was stupid.

All of them may have been smart choices that simply didn't work out for unforeseeable/uncontrollable reasons. Again, not every decision that turns out badly is a dumb decision.
now how smart was it of Miles making these guys co-dc's?

Uhhhh,
That was then, this is now! Your point is "disengenuous" (?) and irrelevant since they are no longer being considered by these programs or others of equal stature.
Man, I think you been smooching their crack. Need a mint?

Yeah, I guess they have this long track record of working in BCS programs and then just woke up one day and forgot how to be a good position coach.

LOL, as a closet Columbo fan I have often pondered that analogy kjanchild.
I have vacillated between whether Coach Miles act is a calculated ruse like Columbo or in fact what we see is what he is.
I'm still really not sure to tell you the truth, but I hope for our sake it's the former.

ironsides,
It looks like you need 2 mints- one for smooching the coaches and one for smooching King Joey's crack.
That is all....

Lucky yes. Great guy -yes. Gutsy- yes. Smart...no.
That fake punt by them really surprised us...enough said.

Well, he went to Michigan, and I went to LSU. Considering that I'm the smartest person on this board, that would make Miles very intelligent.

Well, by that line of thinking, our fake field goal against South Carolina last year made Steve Spurrier look positively retarded.
Using ghe outcome of a single play of a single game as a measure of a man's intellect is not remotely reasonable.
