Not much has changed obviously. We are still able to run the ball against shite defenses and cant muster a got damn thing against good/decent defenses. Les and Cam are probably getting a chuckle out of it on some level.

Les Miles ran this program into the dirt.

Why would he be laughing at himself?

Actually when I saw the holder stand up and throw a pass, I knew Les had to be standing over on the side lines somewhere.

Amazing how little people understand to think you can revamp a complete offense in the middle of the season. NFL can't do it and they aren't limited to the amount of practice time by the NCAA

he shouldn't be, the firing was still justified and was not done for the short term but the long term. The team was built with his blueprint and that blueprint is obviously extremely flawed

You sound like you expected a complete offensive overhaul midseason.

true, you can't install an entire new offense mid-season. Nobody was expecting that.

But you absolutely can, easily, alter the play-calling, overall offensive strategy, and personnel to make the offense more dynamic. That's very easily done, within the existing scheme and playbook. And it's generally why we've generating a lot more yardage on offense since Les left.

No. that being said, any moron with a pulse knew that running a bullshite offense at Alabama and Florida was never going to work. We suck on that side of the ball in big games. Honestly, with Les I think we lose to Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Florida. We would be sitting at 5-5 discussing the possibility of a losing record as tamu in a short week looked like another loss.

I did not expect a big change with a "take-over" in mid season. You are stuck with the offense you have and there cannot be MAJOR changes done. There simply isn't enough time.

The coaches are allowed 20 contact hours per week (including the game itself). By the time a team works on fundamentals, review of the previous game film and correcting errors, install a game plan for the upcoming opponent, etc...there is precious little time to install new concepts, etc.

All that can change is tweaks and 'fresh legs / motivation'

Yes, they can run a few different plays in different sequences. And, they can throw in a few new personnel alignments to run those same plays FROM. But, that's about it.

I am not on the "O for HC" train (as a tier 1 candidate). But, I am not surprised at the product. I think he has done very well with the few things that COULD be changed.

LSU gained 400+ yards on Florida. Jackson and guice prevented a blowout. Good god the ignorance level of you.

No. He still looks even worse than Orgeron imo. I would be willing to wager that Miles would not have done any better.

You mean laughing at how he decimated our football program for a few years to come? I'm sure he is rolling.

All of which you mentioned falls on the OC and HC. They never recruited and developed a quarterback.
