Jefferson went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft, but was invited to try-out at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' rookie minicamp.[11] The team signed Jefferson to a contract on May 7, 2012,[12] but waived him only three days later.[13]

well I didn't expect he would last...just asking.

Also, the JJ lovers on here were all over JL after their boy failed miserably. Remember? Said JL would never be an NFL caliber qb...and that JJ was more NFL material...said they both sucked...etc.....It is still a longshot that JL makes the team....but man it makes me mad we had a guy on the bench without taking a snap....that could end up on an nfl roster......there really is no excuse for that...or at least we haven't heard the real one yet...hopefully.

He'll be on a team before the year is over.

Places like Dominos, Wal-Mart, Taco bell and McDonalds call thier employees "Team Members."

He'll be somebody's teammate before 2013 arrives.

Some folks blame LSU for a lack of progress in JJ's development as a bonafide quarterback. While I agree that there seems to be a problem in development resources, the individual has to bring something to the table as well. JJ never impressed me as a quarterback- he was at best a glorified running back. His "wheels" impressed Less Miles so much that Less ignored or gave up on JL until he was just about forced to use him after JJ tried his hand at the kicking game.
I wish JJ and JL all the success in the world at any endeavors they may attempt, but in reality- JJ's only team status will likely be if he joins a bowling team or a softball team.

This would be fricking classic.

But for Lee's sake, I certainly hope it never happens
